"Lawyers for Gabby Petito's parents announced Monday that they will file a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against the Moab Police Department, two officers who interacted with her just days before her death and two former leaders."

Ah yes, the "why didn't you know that out the hundreds of minor bf/gf domestics the Moab PD deals with annually that THIS ONE would result in a homicide TWO WEEKS later in ANOTHER STATE" negligence complaint.

The case against the Laundrie parents probably has more merit- their actions seem a bit suspect.
