Watching S2 of The Boys.
Watched 'Thorium 2011' on Amazon. Documentary (?) about how Thorium is a much safer nuclear power source than conventional uranium reactors. Interesting, but not well produced.
Tried watching 'Keeping Faith', about a woman who's husband disappears....
Very slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow...........four episodes in before you start to get a picture as to what might be going on............
SSSSSSLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW WWWWWWw........... Not recommended.......... SSSSSLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW
PBS has a show, 'The Last Artifact' on the race to redefine the kilogram standard.
Pretty interesting if you're a bit nerdy.....
Don't know, but it will likely be playing several times this month.

Low Winter Sun, Amazon.........pretty good.
Oof, season 2 of The Boys is bad, and not just for the overt “social commentary.” Season one was funny and felt like it was building to something, season two is just all over the place.
I just watched the first episode of Utopia on Amazon, it’s weirdly interesting.
Watching "Mystery Road", Australian detective series. Pretty good.
Watched a documentary American Murder, about the Shannan Watts murder. We all know how it turned out, but some of the details behind their relationship, prior to murder, was disturbing.
Best as I recall, Letterkenny only got a couple of mentions here & I wanted to put it back into rotation. Funny stuff.
I recommend "The Queen's Gambit" if you have access to Netflix.
I think about halfway through season 2 of The Boys. Seems a lot like season 1 and not really seeing anything to complain about.
Agree with the good acting from other places.
We watched the Midsomer Murder series through Season 19 before Netflix shut it off and it went to BritBox, in October 2019.
We called it our summer of Midsomer, watching about 5 episodes a week during the summer.
I was hoping Mystery Road would be as good.
I do admit the accent and phrasing lost me about twenty percent of the time, but I bumbled along.
I guess I'll keep watching. Nothing is really tying together yet.
Finished season 2 of The Boys. I liked it, no pairs with any of the social commentary as they pretty much nailed it.
I'm like 5 episodes deep into Utopia and it's absolutely terrible. Every once in a while there is a decent hook that gets me to watch the next episode, but I'm surprised I've made it this far. Big let down.
Is it worth finishing in your opinion?
Okay, I'll finish it up on your recommendation, thanks. I've sat through other terrible shows, what's one more? Heh
Anyone watching "The Right Stuff" on Disney+? I watched the first episode last night, pretty good-focused on introducing the characters with warts and all lol. Moved a little slow, I'll keep going as being a child of the space age I pretty much like anything dealing with the early days of the space program.
Agreed, it's challenging to remain interested. The final scene in Utopia has me piqued for the second season.
Community is the funniest comedy series I've ever seen, hands down.
The first season of Norsemen was very, very funny.
I really enjoyed the first season of Space Force, but I can understand why some wouldn't be drawn in to it.
I haven't found a drama series I've like since Breaking Bad. It set the bar too high.

Did you try Ozark?
The 12th man, based on a book "We die alone". True story of a failed Norwegian navy sabotage raid on German installations in WW2 and the lone survivor's 60 day trek to freedom.
English subtitled, I had read the book years ago, great movie.
Yes, it was a lot like breaking bad. But I felt like Breaking Bad was told like a tale of folly, or a cautionary tale, whereas I felt like Ozark was more like crime as entertainment, which I don't enjoy. I know it sounds weird...

We all have our unexplainable inconsistencies.
