More trivia .What was the issue regarding the cover of bow wow wow's album?
Dayum, someone else gets it. [cigar]
Missed the NYDs. My guess is obscenity on the album cover. The PMRC was big back then.
God Jon Benjamin is hilarious. NPR clip with Jon Benjamin showing off his new jazz album.

Tuned into this yesterday while I was replenishing some of the ammo I've blasted over the last two weeks:

From the week of January 24, 1987. I was off keepin' America safe somewhere when that show originally played and didn't hear it. In retrospect, I don't think I missed much.
need a little motivation this mid a.m.

SAW BOC in 1977 in GB WI, Cheap Trick also headlined.

I think we saw Kiss and REO earlier that year too. I remember Kiss concert being COLD as a well digger's ass.
I love early Nazareth but only saw them live as a warm-up for Rush in Germany in the early 80's and that album sucked - The Fool Circle.
BOC was originally called soft white underbelly. Main stay at My Fathers Place on Long Island. Many a time in small (500 seats or less) venues. Being from the area. I'd have to take my shoes off to count how many "local" bands i knew way back when. Like before they were "known"
Did see Rush as STYX's opening act.
This is cool.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ok5d8nXAngw
And just because I was at the concert.

And they ROCKED! Top five concerts for me! And I have seen lots of great concerts, Pantera, Metallica, RHCP, Ted Nugent. The list goes on and on. This was a excellent show.
Couple more, that 12 ft ninja video reminded me of these guys.

It's really hard to judge other peoples' preferred style of music, but I ran across this youtube channel that just puts up new rock bands all the time. I think some of you guys like Kazoo and Brutal may like some of the stuff.
Here is the channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/StonedM...fDoom93/videos
Here is one of the ones that made me think of this thread.

Saw this on another channel, but a similar feel.

I've gotten into the habit of letting a full album play in the background while browsing. Stoner rock definitely describes this band as they only have four tracks, but the album is still over an hour long!
