Who do you work for? Onshore or offshore? I spent a couple years as an MWD. My office job allows me to be home every night but it was a wicked pay cut.

Well I'm checking in for the night. The nights slowly ticking by, wish it would pick up a bit or at least get to dinner time!
I'm with Baker.
Onshore.

I had to flash my locked up Razr M tonight. Oh joy.
Didn't brick it, did ya?
No.
Stock ROM, no root or hacks even.
It was hung after I got back into the truck this afternoon during a meet. Had to hard reboot it and it just kept hanging. Cleared the cache and even did a factory wipe. No Go. Just glad it came back after a flash. However, after going through all that trouble, I should have unlocked the damn thing and rooted it BEFORE I set it up and reinstalled all the apps.
Ah gotcha, yea I had that problem with my old Palm Pre. I loved that phone, but I had to hack it more than normal just to get an operational phone and keep it that way.
Haha, I live in very rural areas. We have a 4G antenna for White Sands Missile Range, but I'm on the edge of the antenna, so naturally, I don't get any 4G speeds. The rest of the town isn't even 3G, so wifi is my only bet. Driving to Las Cruces or heading to work I lose signal entirely. Most of the time, my cell phone is just a camera or a paperweight.
So are you guys insomniacs too, or do you actually have a legit reason for being up so late (work, etc?)
I'm sitting at work. See the sig...
We can only catch the good photons at night.
at work.
Company man is getting all antsy because a downlink didn't take. More flies with honey is a concept he should look into.
a downlink is how we communicate with the tool on the end of the pipe, basically varying the amount of fluid flowing through it. Things can get sketchy when there's over 3 miles of pipe between you and the tool.

My baby is an insomniac... Lol hungry little guy at 1:30am!
Plug her up to the mom
What's this "legit" bull crap? I am a Night Person. Just because I'm normally up all night doesn't mean I'm not "legit". I do not suffer from insomnia. I just sleep better during the day than I do at night. I just did some internet research on it. The last time I talked to a sleep doctor was in the late 70's and he told me that my normal is abnormal and Live With It. I just found out that in the mid 1980's being a Night Owl has been officially recognized a Disorder and can be a Disability. I have been this way all my life. Even as kid I was a Night Owl. My Dad was a Night Person too.
I retired four years ago yesterday after working 22 years of rotating shifts. I thrived on swing and graveyard shift. The 7 days a month that I had to work day shift was miserable.
I stop in and lurk around here frequently but I not sure if I'm part of the "Night Crew" because I'm not working.
"I'd like you to know at four in the morning, things are comin' to mind
All I see, all I've done, and those I hope to find
I'd like to remind you at four in the morning my world is very still
The air is fresh under diamond skies, makes me glad to be alive"
Have a Good Day. And Night.
Steve A.
You, sir, are NOT a legit member of the night crew... [Poke]
There is no real definition. I post up in here on my nights before and after a work shift when I'm transitioning. I'm not a "legit" whore, but I post in the post whore thread...
For the record though, having a sleeping disorder, such as being a daysleeper, is a legit reason. Besides, i think its more of a reason just to see who is online at night when there is no one else to keep you entertained.
cheaper than dirt! continues to grind my gears.
Just got their ad in for "AR-15 rifles at a great price"
Colt 6920=$2000
There's one on the shelf in the wal mart down the street for $1200.

Hey, for CTD that IS a good price. And if you buy it at that price, they'll offer you the chance to purchase 1k rounds of M193 for the LOW LOW BARGAIN price of $990! [LOL]
I managed to skeeve off a morning of work and inadvertently slept sans alarm clock until 11AM. I'd been missing my full 8 hours of beauty sleep needed to be fully functional for about a week with only about 6 and worked 16 hours Sunday with insufficient sleep the night before.
Yes, I am a night owl. I don't do morning well. It comes from years of having to work late hours/overnighters/weekends in IT. I'm not on a regular overnight shift like some of you guys.
I think I qualify in all dept's. I'm an insomniac, a daysleeper, and work strictly night shifts.

Had to re-read that a few times to make sure I got the order right. Lol.
I work nights because I'm a daysleeper AND an insomniac. So ha!
(Something tells me that I'll look at this later and realize that wasn't quite the stunning display of verbal swordsmanship that I thought it was at the time......)
General, intractable insomnia at all hours around the clock. So I started working nights, because it's more pay and less stress. Which turned me into a daysleeper.
And the chicken came first
Much to the dismay of Mrs Chicken.
Is it dinner time yet?
Tonight is spaghetti. Figure I should take a break from eating brisket and beans.

Squeeze - In. Working 'til 0400. Just had a Hungry Man T.V. dinner. Not overly busy, which is a good thing.
I'm a sleepaholic

I hate knee injuries. So much pain and I haven't even gotten up out of my desk chair or walked on it in nearly 7 hours.
Calling it a night now, hope everyone near the fires stays safe!
Ugh. Sorry to hear that - agreed, knee injuries are nasty. Harder sometimes than back stuff.
