At the same time our government retards in charge stained our reputation for generations to come from the unbelievable fuck up in Afghanistan. When they destroyed what worldwide respect we had left (did you see China announced today they will crack down on all travel in their "territorial waters"?). They are destroying military moral. They destroyed our borders. The needless covid restrictions are ramping up as bad as ever, but this time squarely focused on the younger crowd and vindictive as ever. They aren't even trying to pretend "science" anymore. Oh, they won't shutdown businesses this time. But they will shutdown schools (our school was forced to send 79 kids and staff home today because 7 tested positive) and get people fired for not vaxing. And many private Christian schools will be forced to close completely soon because they won't force their staff to get the vax. It's going to happen. Also this week .gov announced their "transitory inflation" estimate for 4 qtr of 2.2% was a bit off. It's really going to be 4.8%. And in my industry, materials that used to take a few days to get now take 30+ weeks. Not just one or two things, but dozens of entire product categories simply can't be found. Infinite backorders. Think the economy can simply ignore that? Gas prices are up. Gas stations are running out. Delivery drivers can't be found. Still to this day the grocery store has at least some empty shelves every time I go.
Oh, and DOD refused to allow private rescue teams bring home the military dogs. Around 50 of them. You heard that right. DOD refused to even let other groups bring the DOGS home. The freaking military dogs got left behind. Ok, so you can't bring home 600,000 rifles too easy, but you CAN absolutely get a few dogs on the plane. They didn't even have to go find them all. The dogs were at the airport, waiting for a ride that they weren't allowed to get on. That's just fucked up.
Sorry for the rambling and off topic post, but this Afghanistan shit is just more on the pile that can't possibly take much more..
This has got to come to a head soon.

China will take Taiwan and the world will not do anything because there will not be any effort or leadership from the US. Our troops will be brought home from S Korea and N Korea will break the armistice and invade. Iran will buy or build a nuclear bomb and nuke Israel. It would not surprise me if Russian aggression annexed a couple of countries as well.

While I do believe the administration is both corrupt and incompetent to the core, when you have the time to plan to get all Americans out, publicly pledge to do that (notwithstanding saving the friendly Afghan families to helped us all those years) and then don't - with zero remorse - that is just flat out evil. The utter contempt they have for American citizens is shocking. They have proven they don't have our backs. Couple that with how casually and consistently they label Americans here as racists, every kind of phobe you can imagine, and now terrorists, what are we to think of our leaders?
