If he wants a 750+ rifle with excellent accuracy out of the box, look into the Sig Sauer SSG3000... Granted, it'll set you back about $1200-1400, but it apparently scored very high marks in a long range rifle review recently.

We lost Jack and Cooper last year. :(

BC, unfortunately, that's a little beyond us this year. Maybe next year we can supplement his stock.
