Didn't even cross my mind [what's right of it] to take some venison out. Gonna throw the sausage in a pan to quick sear before dropping in the sauce. Have a whole roaster in que for prep to roast up sunday

I picked up some ground elk for jerky sticks from the butcher. Hate paying big bucks for game... I'd like to start hunting here in CO but it's just me and my wife and I don't even have a freezer.

I do a skirt steak, marinade over night, with lemon, onions, garlic, seasonings. Then sear on grill or under broiler for 3-4 min. Put remaining marinade in a small pot and bring to boil. Turn down to simmer and cook until you have a nice reduction and onions are tender 5-10 min.

The new job is good,at least I'm finaly getting paid for the work I do.

I haven't seen a good snowstorm in at least 3 years.
The last one we were out here for Christmas when they shut all the airports down and had to stay an extra 2 weeks due to all the flights being cancelled.
Almost lost my job for that.The plant manager at the time was from Denver and knew about the weather.The owner told him to STFU!![LOL]
