I noticed some odd popping in Gus' hips a week or two ago. Made vet appt, had xrays. He's got really bad hip dysplasia and he just turned a year old last week. Not showing any signs of pain or discomfort yet. He generally runs around the house/yard like his hair's on fire. That's sad to hear, BG. Deformed/Curved femurs almost sounds like rickets.
She said it was common to see curved femurs in Corgis. His are just worse than most.
Hate to see skeletal issues in the young dogs.
BG, like you all we can do is manage the issue and hope surgery for the other elbow does not become necessary. Surgeon discussed the future joint issues she will have when older.
She found a baseball at the park and was just begging me to let her keep it.
