Figuring out my new fancy neck turner....
Loaded 50 rounds of 30-30.With lever evolution powder. Primed 200 rounds of 458 Win Mag brass. Shoulder will not be happy after test firing 458!!! [LOL]
Cleaned a couple guns and starting making plans for the purchase of a 338 defensive edge
Swaged a few hundred pieces of 5.56. After I get all this brass swaged and trimmed, I'll be set to do LOTS of loading!
Messed around on the 550 some more this evening. Got a little frustrated so I just stepped away and will return tomorrow.
What was frustrating you on the 550? I've had some primer issues and alignment issues in the past that where a headache. After loading on a 550 for a few years I think I got it wired. If you want help shoot me a PM.
Yep primer issues. Hah. I watched a couple youtube videos and gonna give it a shot tomorrow. If I can't get it dialed in I will certainly pm you. Thanks!
Cool no issues bro hope it works out. One common thing is that the bracket that clamps to the primer tube scoots up over time. That bracket needs to be touching the toolhead.
Sorted and tumbled a bunch of brass. Cleaned a 1911. Pulled some mystery loads for my WTF powder jar. Basically just rid the bench of a to-do list.
Bobby - what plans are you making for the .338 Stoopid? You going with a 700 action or one of them fancy pants rigs?
Fancy fancy. I'm calling up defiance tomorrow and going to figure out what all to get on one of those sexy actions!
Hahaha Yes, I do have a long way to go! [LOL]
Once I figured out where to mount it (Before I got it, I didn't realize that it needed to be on the "end" of a bench so the handle can swing past level) I got about 300 done in an hour. I just mounted it to my bench with some $3 bar clamps from Harbor Freight and it's been working beautifully. Having the spring return system on it is genius. [Awesom] Thanks so much Roger!
Had this morning off so I processed about 2,500 pcs of 223 for a buddy. FL Resize, trim and primer pocket swage. Cant hate it.
Well my first dumb ass mistake. I left the large primer tube in and was trying to prime some prepped brass while I wait for my dillon dies. Stupid hurts some times, and I broke the little red end off the large primer tube.
[Hang][Hang]
Got home today and found two large flat rate boxes full of 223 brass on my front porch. There was a note, "Please process. I will get them from you at the range Friday."
Grrr.
Now if only I knew who dropped it off and if they wanted to to stay 223 or made into 300 Whisper/Blackout.
Got my Dillon dies today, empty shell bin, extra parts kit and two bottles of spray lube. Got my dies set up, just need dial in the powder drop. Man I love this thing already. WFT and Wilson case gage to arrive Friday.

Look closely...
I can't tell. It's crooked. Kind of like the picture taker was drunk or something.
Started tumbling some .223.
Loaded a couple hundred 9mm on the 1050 before the priming system went south AGAIN. I'm beyond sick of dicking with that thing. People ask why I don't still shoot matches? That is why. I've replaced every conceivable part that could be an issue and had numerous other savvy people work on it. Dozens of calls to dillon. It's always fixed........for a few hundred rds then right back to fucktown.
It loaded north of 200k without a hitch. As soon as I get caught up from all these renovations I've been doing, this bitch is going back to Dillon.
*this is not a slam on the product, I'd not buy any other brand, but on mine and others ability to dignose the proplem and fix it.
You "blue man group" guys spend way to much time dicking with your equipment.
Versus one pc of brass at a time.........................................size/deprime, change and adjust die , change and adjust die. what was that your 550 did how many rounds? The 650 can do ??
Unfortunately nothing is perfect. If it was, hoser would probably have the market cornered.
Swaged about 500 more pieces of brass last night. Making good progress. Having a spring return system on the Super Swage 600 really speeds things up!
Just pulled all my 45 auto bullets, reclaimed the powder and will be getting rid of my 45 excess once I get time to count. I got a damn blister from the puller!
Also loaded 800 rounds of 44 mag today with a good mild 925 FPS plinking load. Loaded 200 rounds of 1270 FPS loads for critters, all 240gr SWC.
.308 test load with H335 and some .223 test loads with the same powder. Pretty excited about it. I am trying to find a replacement for H4895 in a ball powder.
