Traded for this, can't say no to a CSP marked trade in Smith
It went alright. We took one out to one lake Saturday and the other to another lake yesterday. Both outings were enjoyable but I think we're going to need another couple of trips to compare again because I liked one better than the other and the wife went oppo of my opinion. More testing is required to reach an agreement. Good excuse to get out on the water though!
Little out of my skillset, but I bought it anyways. It was just too good of a deal.
Received these today! :D
Mizuno JPX 919 Tour
Project X 5.0 R-Flex
All L^3 (Lie Loft Length)
I could've had Stiff or Reg+ shaft, but my swing speed got slower since my hayday 2008 golfing era (pkus after surgery+out of shape)

Nice, let's go shoot them together sometime before my rifle season in October.
Sounds good!
Is that for pistachio?
Ummmm, yes. Took me a while to remember that.
I've got a Crossfire II 6-24x50 on there now (size Fentonite bought), but the Crossfire II just has a plain cross reticle. On the plain reticle, the only marking is where the line goes from thin to thick, and I'm just not a good enough shooter for that to work for me for hold over. I've heard this scope is a great deal so I jumped on one while I've got money. I'm really surprised at how thin the reticle is at min power. I stepped down on the power because the eye box gets so narrow on the bigger one that I was mostly using it around 16x anyway. Plus, I'm likely not going to try and shoot an animal at ranges where I'd need that much anyway. I'm hoping to finally get an antelope this year. I missed one my first year due to lack of distance experience and that plain reticle. Which basically boils down to just my own lack of experience, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus, buying new equipment after failures due to lack of skill is basically an American hunting tradition.
My new slides for my 96A1 One is a 22 conversion and the other is a 9mm slide. Because of the larger frame the dust cover has some space between the frame and slide but I think they will both work for the Range and plinking on the cheap. Now I just need to find a couple cheap 92 mags for the 9mm setup

TPM sd suppressor.

I have been using a vm (virtual machine) running samba to play with having a network attached drive. It worked, but I rather not keep a 'real' computer running just to play some music, etc.
So I bought one of these on Amazon Prime days....ordered the NAS+memory+SSD drive and had the NAS disappear at the local Colorado Springs Amazon shipping area.
Attachment 78498
I did get about 80 dollars off, stuffed in a SSD for speed...thinking I will put a secondary ssd (m.2 style) to allow faster write times.
I only installed one 8T drive, with only one drive bay used. Installed some plex server software so it can be a media server.
Upgraded the memory (RAM) from 4 gig to 8 gig.
The NAS supports 2 M.2 ssd drives for read and and write cache. The max write up on the NAS indicates that it can store 40T for total storage using 10T drives. They do have 14T drives out there but not sure if the system has been upgraded to work with that size drives.
The cache will be 2 500Gig m.2 ssd drives when I have the budget for the upgrade.
I just wish the NAS and my network supported something faster than 1G network. Right now loading files I show I am using 100% bandwidth between my computer and the NAS.
Configuration is using JBOD.
I run a DS918+ at home. Have a 2 x 256 GB Samsung M.2 read/write cache + 4 x 4 GB HDD using btrfs. Also upgraded the RAM. These things are pretty slick.
You can create a 'bonded' LAN connection using both 1GB NICs to increase your throughput.
I have an older 5-bay model that I loaded with the Virtual Machine Manager last week to use as a lab.
Have fun with your new NAS!
Cool tech....I do run a few VM's (virtual machines) on my computer mostly for fun. Doing the base load of files is sure slow over the network...esp if you miss the pop up question asking for a response. Maybe I will try the external usb drive method to see if copies would be faster.
Found the USB copy package for the hardware....this should help out a bit...if my external hard drives are recognized.
While waiting for the current copy to finish I will play with my new home drone...
Dang it is a bit smaller than I thought....

Not really a purchase...product review freebie. Installed it yesterday.

Well, our dishwasher sucks, so let us know how it does.
A free Bosch dishwasher - I could hit it a few times with a rag.
We paid a bunch for ours last year.
Good on you!
Does it just show up on a truck, or is there an installation included?

Not bad for 10 bucks. Should fit my Ruger 3 screw single action. At least the .22lr one. Not the .357 one

^^ Oh, yeah...that looks perfect!
They start a new campaign every month. There are a variety of products...valued from literally a few cents (like a pack of o-rings, for example) to things worth several hundred dollars...like a new model Bosch dishwasher. They send an email, you go to the site, select products...first come, first served. Then it's shipped right to the house. Bosch did call and offer to set up professional installation (I'd be responsible for the cost) but I declined. Dishwashers are easy if you're just replacing one with another.
How quickly do they expect a review? I like giving reviews on products water I've owned them for a year, but I suspect they wouldn't like that.
I'd be very happy to give SureFire an unbiased review. Too bad they don't have a similar program as I don't have a suppressed rifle yet.
(Hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge, giggle)
Attachment 78511BlueStar gas range for our new kitchen renovation. Older picture without backsplash. ASKO dishwasher and a Perlick under-counter refrigerator were also installed.
Who is doing your reno? They should be doing that horizontally, not vertically. [Sarcasm2]
That's a nice looking range. I'm seeing that many appliance manufacturers are pushing black/cast iron finishes lately. Supposedly stainless is 'out'. I like stainless for the same reasons that the food service industry likes stainless. I don't see it having the issue of being dated like turquoise, avocado green, and harvest gold. Those will probably come back as the hottest 'new thing' any day now.
Good luck with the reno!
^^^^Thank you. We don’t follow the latest design trends, but instead purchase based on intended usage. I do a lot of high heat cooking and this range gives produces the most BTU’s per burner without being a legitimate restaurant range.
