How does it work when doing private transfers with the wait time? Does the FFL hold onto it until background check is done?
At least guns for everyone told seller to leave the firearm and pay the seller.
if buyer has a hiccup, buyer needs to make arrangement with the store.
I'm thinking about backing out of a sale currently because I don't want to drive to an FFL twice for a 2 day background check, and I'm the one doing to selling...Quote:

Isn't the process to goto the the FFL, seller takes the cash, seller transfers firearm to FFL, seller/buyer pays transfer fee, buyer fills out the form & seller says goodbye to the purchaser and goes home. Anything after that is between the FFL & purchaser.Quote:
