I just like how you complained about 'body weight' exercises. If you can 'lift' heavy then you should certainly be able to accomplish more than one pull up, or you aren't working out how you should be.
I gave up years ago trying to convince people of the benefits of being healthy. It doesn't just have to do w/ being in shape, but also what you put into your body. Lift all you want, then go eat at McD's. You aren't feeding your body right so you won't see real benefits from working out.
