Shit, forgot to turn off the tumbler.
200 rounds of 38spl 148 grain BBWC, 3 grains of Red dot and a Federal primer.
I have been spending quality time cleaning up the work area for reloading. I decided to start putting labels on the outside of boxes and containers so there is less of a where is waldo event when hunting for 'stuff'.
I just finished looking at the new caliber specific reloading guides to determine...nope - they don't have that, can't order that now.
I just got the shipment notification that my M1 Carbine mold by Lee has shipped...so come spring I can get back into casting.
Lost my coffee cup
Started taking inventory of all my stuff..... it's going to take years and millions of lives.....
Kinda like an archeological dig...finding stuff I forgot I had.
I rearranged a lot in my reloading room yesterday. I didnt realize how bad it was until the other day I opened a rubbermaid tub that had been sitting there for I dont know how long. In it was 800 rounds of factory .40 jhps, a case of 12 ga, 3 .40 glock mags and some other assorted ammo.
I cleared off some shelves and started sorting my pistol ammo, worked on sorting the boxes of bullets on the components shelves and seperated brass that has been rolling around in several different buckets. I havent loaded a round since going deer hunting in Texas last Thanksgiving.
Tomorrow I will sort shotgun ammo, hopefully rifle ammo as well. My goal will be to reload some by the end of the month.
Dropped a container of 1200 pcs of freshly cleaned 9mm brass in the dirt. [facepalm]
My shop has dirt floor except for office and reloading area. I put tumbler across shop from reloading area due to noise and its annoying.
Nothing. Just stared at the inventory. Trying to decide if i'm going to load .357, 38 or 308. My component privilege is such a first world burden .
I took apart a kitchen trash compactor to salvage the motor and gears, as part of my plan to build a wet tumbler that can tumble a drum the size of a 5 gallon bucket. The idea is to build it with free/salvage materials.
Its dumb that I'm working on this now, when I can't get primers and I'm barely shooting. Something to do, I guess.
