Created 200x pieces of .260 brass out of .308 brass.
100 .45 ACP loaded, about 400 bullets cast, lubed and sized.
Loaded 400 rounds of .223. Only 9600 to go until I am caught back up.
Was out near Missouri last week and stopped in at the Sierra Outlet store. Nice people. Lots of factory seconds available, but I don't think I'll be buying their mixed bullets again after hand sorting 25 lbs of those critters.
450 rounds of 45 ACP. 230 RN over Clays.
Bought two pounds of RL-15.
Built some test rounds for a new 45acp bullet (new bullet for me, anyway).

Got all my gear set up, will be heading up to Dads tomorrow AM to pick up some powder.
Just got the adjustable charge bar installed in the powder measure, and got the priming tool all set up.
And I got my bullets from Xtreme. Hopefully by tomorrow night, i'll be making some rounds.

Finally figured out where I left that part for my press, I was trying to match up. ON a shelf at the hardware store [facepalm]
Loaded up the last of my 6CM ammo for the Steel Safari killing another 8 lb jug of H-1000 in the process.
Also pointed up some Speer 125 TNT bullets for 300 Whisper/Blackout.
Is that the only difference? How much case capacity gain have you noticed from .243 to 6CM?
Loaded my first rounds of 45acp.
I was amazed at the wide variety of loads from the reloading manuals I looked at. It's a pretty wide range, each one with a different OAL, some with a starting load pretty close to other manuals max load, etc. For AA5 powder, my Hornady manual shows a 230gr bullet, and 6.0 grains of AA5, with a max of 7.0 grains. While the Western Powder data shows a starting load of 7.1 grains and a max of 8.3 grains.
Out of 5 different sources, most of them seem have 7.0 grains as a lower end load with a velocity around 700fps. And excluding the Hornady manual, the rest show a max of 8.5-9.3 grains.
My test batch of ammo heads to the range tomorrow, I've got 4 different loads, all with the same OAL, same bullet, same powder, same primers, just different amounts of primer. I started at 7.0gr, and increase by .2gr up to 7.8gr All with an OAL of 1.265.
I'll be getting my 9mm loaded up tonight. The numbers for 9mm look much more consistant across the sources I'm looking at, so picking my workup numbers for those will be easier.
Loaded 600 rounds of .223 with 55 gr sp. Now I have a nice even 1k. Next is 1k of 55 gr hp.
Last night I prepped some brass for testing a new load.
mouse farts, not elephant turds.... start slow and low.
Loaded up 200 .308 AMAXs over the last two nights. Time to start on the .223 SMK and VMAX now.
Took the new Dillon de-priming pins and case lube there.
300 rounds of .32 ACP.

Primed and belled 120ish cases.
Prepped & primed 520 9mm cases
Yesterday, had the boy start the tumbler with a load of 9mm about 3 in the afternoon. Then.......forgot about it until this morning. Ought to be REAL shiny.
Prepped (Deprimed, resized, trimmed, deburred, and swaged) 500 pieces of 5.56/.223 this weekend. The WFT was a life saver! But still a PITA.... FML
Looking in to a dillion soon.
SS tumbled my brass from yesterday. Woot!

Got my first 9mm test loads done today, and shot them at the range tonight. All were with Xtreme plated 115gr bullets, and AA5 powder loaded to 1.155 OAL. The lowest load of 5.4gr failed to lock the slide back on the first round, but locked it correctly on the next 2 sets of the same load. The rest of the rounds (5.7gr, 6.0gr, and 6.3gr) all functioned normally. The 6.0gr load felt the closest to the factory Federal value pack stuff I was shooting. The 6.3gr felt a little hotter, but only barely. No cases showed any pressure issues, not surprising since I stayed a bit below the max load numbers.
With the one failure to lock the slide back on 5.4, I'll probably plan on a batch somewhere between the 5.7 and 6.0. I only tested them in my sr9c so I still need to see how run in my wifes new M&P Shield. It's recoil spring is tighter than my ruger.
My skills are still the weak link, so not worried about the ammo's accuracy too much. I didn't shoot any from a bench rest, but they seemed at least as accurate as the factory ammo I shot earlier in the evening.
Thanks to those who offered tips and pointed me toward sources for the components.
New .44 mold! New .44 mold!!!
Great casting session, Bobby.
if only you would have remembered to water drop them.. I swear it is getting harder and harder to find good friends.[Beer]
Threw a bunch of 9mm and .223 in the tumbler then ordered 1000 Extreme plated 9mm. Looks like I'll be shooting a LOT of 9mm in the future. Last range trip I went through 300 rounds. 1000 rounds goes quickly like that.
