Been following this thread and pondering it. Can't say what I would do. Am a meat hunter, would depend on how hungry and how plentiful meat was.
Since when were "white creatures" spirit animals? Somebody better let the Reverends Jackson and Sharpton know.
Serious question, does anyone know of any place that sells Moose meat?
I have seen my fair share of moose being kill by Texans thinking they were deer or elk. They were so proud of the "deer" or "elk" they slung them half way over the bed of their trucks for johnney law to see, never ended well for them. Any ways back on topic. If i knew what it meant something to the people, and i did not before reading this, i would have not taken the shot. The legal little meat givers, the ones hippies would be upset about, are the ones i am really after.
I'm still on the lookout for the elusive Hudson albino prairie dog...
I would like to think that I would have only shot it with a camera. I know that many native tribes hold the 'white' in honor.
And yes, I'm a jerk and war-monger.
