I know how you feel. My neighbors recently put down a little ankle biter of a dog that barked at me nonstop. The relief is nice, still sad for the dog.

My in laws have 2 purebred huskies and a huskie elkhound mix. They all live indoors and rarely bark except when they are playing. They listen to commands and are the nicest and smartest dogs I know of. Huskies are super smart and everyone says they are hard to train. Training takes time, effort, dedication, and consistency. IMO, If someone is not willing to put forth the time, effort, dedication, and consistency that is required to train a dog, they are not responsible enough to have a dog.
