Is there really going to anything 'Great" at the show, something to energize the buying public? Or will it just be "Bold New Graphics" again? Any predictions or inside info?
I know there are a few really neat things.
Remington's new 9mm pistol is pretty cool. And they did update/upgrade several versions of the VersaMax, with design input from yours truly. The 3Gun version has rifle sights, 8 and 10 round capacity chocie, and the one piece tube with a carbon fiber shroud that I designed. The extended lifter (no need to weld them anymore) is also on the new 3G and is being carried through the line. There is also a wood stocked version.
Burris has 4 new lines of optics, with 5x zoom and better glass.
With ammo and components coming on line, everyone there won't be trying to scavenge a box of ammo from everyone they meet.
I am sure there will be some cool stuff, but I doubt anything really "Great" as a lot of R&D and development got back-burnered in attempts to satisfy buying frenzy demands.

The Shot Show was beyond my wildest imagination. The show is huge and it was extremely difficult to cover the show even with great discretion on where we stopped.
