i used the 3M kit on a ford escape which had headlights nearly as bad as the toyota above--worked great and also seemed to last for quite a while. it certainly wasn't a matter of months before the haze came back by any stretch of the imagination.
some haze was starting to come back after several years, but that vehicle was parked outside every day
One thing that helps is a coat of good automotive clear that has UV protectant in it after the polish. 2021 has it but is not cheap.

About a week ago, 3m kit from walmart, +/- $11 if I remember right. Worked great on my Jeep and Honda. I still have enough polish left over to do one or two more vehicles.
I sand the headlights starting at 600 grit go all the way down to 2500 grit then buff to gloss and them reseal with this producthttp://www.tcpglobal.com/AutoBodyDep...FeZaMgodASgA0w
works great. No fading been over year since I have used it.
