I laid out a strip with my "discard powder" today, on the snow in the backyard. Touched it off, and was disappointed. Next time, much fatter trail of powder. My trophy wife was impressed, but obviously she is easily impressed...
I did feel a twang of guilt in "wasting" powder, but it was made up of about 6 different powders, would have been interesting to load something with it. "Start low, and work up", heh-heh!
Wow, nice score. I'd like to pick up some more CFE Pistol, have used up 3 pounds, and have 2 pounds left, and I'm very happy with the results, although my loads are very simple, so almost any pistol ammo would probably work just as well.Quote:
