Is Thank You Too Much

Cheers for being a nice guy, we need more people like you and a LOT less people like her.

I miss the days when helping out another human was common, and you would get a thanks and everyone would be better off for serving their fellow man and for being helped out. Most times now a person who tries to help someone out gets dumped on, or worse. We live in a self-absorbed, self-centered world and the gleams of just being a regular nice guy here and there are lost.

Welcome to the 'Entitlement Society'. Remember the saying "the children are our future"? Yeah, we're so screwed.

For every one of her, there are thousands of young men and women serving in the military, training to be firemen, paramedics, police, etc...

One rude individual is no cause to denigrate the entire generation.

If you lower your expectations of people they will disappoint you less and surprise and encourage you more. I try to save my higher expectations for myself, my children, and my friends, in that order. [Flower]

Our military continues to shrink and the number of adults living in their parent's homes has grown by the millions. I wish this snowflake were just a 'one-off'.
