Doesn't sound bad either, but the ATF says the only controlled part is the serialized part. Everything else is just a piece of metal/plastic.

One of my many pet peeves; Why do I need permission and to pay a special tax to make my firearm quieter?If vehicle owners were required to under go the same process to own and install mufflers on their vehicle the roads would be much louder.Suppressor regulation in the USA is a good example of poor government policy that results in unnecessary restrictions on free citizens.
