I used to game A LOT. (PC gamer) I had the rig, the time, etc. Mainly played FPS. I was "one of those guys" that got paid to play (no, it isn't thousands like people believe), hit up by the big names to be a Beta Tester (not as fun as it sounds) and all that jazz. Free merch, etc. For a while, I was the number 3 pilot in the world for BF2 in both fixed wing and whirly birds.... Then, through some tough love, I realized I was addicted. Decided to change. Got married, steady job, and all that jazz. Had a hard time pulling out of it and growing up. That was several years ago...
Now, I might have time to game once every few months for a few hours on a late Saturday night, but it has definitely slowed down a lot. To be honest, I don't miss it at all. Also, to be truthful, it IS fun picking up a controller and pretending like I do NOT know what I'm doing when I school some of my students, HAHAHA.
Hmm, now you got me thinking... back to work!
