What is so special about artists?

Why didn't they issue a refund to the net tax payers instead of wasting it on some bullshit.

I like good art as much as anyone else, my idea of good art probably wouldn't include anything from the 21st century though. Just like my idea of good music does not include rap or faux-country.

Why is it just for artists?
Wouldn't some of the start-up entrepreneurs benefit from similar consideration,
or other professions - Lawyers, Doctors, Cowboys, Trucking Companies, and such?

Is she surviving on government grants? Probably not ... being a conservative she probably wouldn't qualify for any of the grants since her work isn't lefty bullshit.

Technically my wife and I are professional artists (we're both graphic designers). But we're not incompetent whores :)
