Yahoos up by the "south site" are what caused me to take my shooting back to (and I know I'll burn in hell for this) Dragonman's.
Being in public view reserves no expectation of privacy. They are seeking those who may have started the fire. They just had a description to go off, but pictures and any id tags would of help tremendously.
Not doing anything wrong, no need to worry. Got plenty of random drivers on windshield cam in case they commit an offense causing a crash or injury. Ends the he said she said cases with hard evidence. No different than the thousands of security cams that can be reviewed by LE.
Better to take pictures and let LE handle it, than approach the wrong a holes and end up dead.
There are no rules and no concept of safety when shooting on public lands with people you don't know. That's why I never do it.
This kind of behavior is exactly why I fear our gun rights will be removed eventually, no matter how hard we responsible gun enthusiasts try, a few village idiots and crazies are all it takes to ruin everything.
