I ordered the standard for $14.99, received it yesterday. Just a heads up to those of you with an older version (we have an older one for the bedroom), the new remote we received has power button and volume button, so you can essentially put your TV remote in the drawer if you are using Firestick exclusively. Once we found that out, we ordered one to replace the older room version and we'll just keep that as a spare.

I just set mine up. That new remote is awesome. My dog chewed up 3 remotes on the original Firestick and each replacement was a non-voice remote and I paid between $12-15 for them.
After I set up the new remote on my old Firestick, I decided to order another $15 Firestick just for the price of the remote. Very convenient to only need one remote to turn on the TV and browse the Firestick.
I must say I'm totally impressed with the new fire stick !!!
I'm super impressed by the speed/responsiveness of the 4K stick. Downloading and installing apps is also super fast over 5 GHz WiFi.
Found a funny bug yesterday. The stick is associated to the original Echo I have in the kitchen (used primarily for displaying my security cams on the TV via voice). I was playing a YouTube review vid for the Echo Show 5 on the TV trying to figure out if my mom would benefit from one that was on sale. I was showing the wife what it would be like to get a recipe on the Echo. Part of the process was to say "Next" if the suggested recipe isn't the one you want. Whenever I would say "Next", the Fire 4K stick would go to the next YouTube video. Testing is so over-rated. [Coffee]
