Wouldn't most mass shootings that the media cares about ones with indiscriminate targeting of victims?

I never said an indiscriminate group wasn't shot, but thanks for projecting. I read a lot, and what I find interesting is what is chosen to be repeated and elevated to the public. I also find it interesting and alarming to see how our lexicon is modified to promote an agenda and emotional 'steering'. Words mean something, and yet I never hear of any pushback.
I think this is a result of getting more miles on life's odometer. You notice how society has changed over your lifetime.
In the event the guy isn't actually dead and adrenaline pumped officers missed that
he could have been still alive while waiting for medical care,
and officers aren't doctors and not allowed to determine death, therefore the suspect is in custody until medical professionals want handcuffs removed

I've become so numb to the news I don't care about the body count or who the victims were, I just care about what gun laws will follow.
Perhaps it's time for a little bit of introspection on your part.
