Benn chased by Badgers many times while shooting P-dogs or Speedy Goat hunting, also have a few skulls and claws from them too.
They are a vial smelling animal.

Encountered 1 badger in my life. Same experience. It did not live to kill another chicken, but I puked due to the smell.
