That's a fair assessment, but isn't it the military's job to filter those people out of service or into the kitchen before it comes to that?

Yeah...probably. But now the military is staffed by Lt I Have Two Mommies. And, you know...fairness and equality and gender identity and shit like that is more important than killing people and breaking stuff when the need arises.
The same people who are in the leadership roles that decide commercials like this are good policy make all the other policies...like weeding "those people" out. Suddenly, "those people" don't get weeded out.
These are the types of policies and recruiting programs that are designed by politically correct politicians. They're not designed by generals and admirals that want war-fighters instead of social justice warriors.
This is trickle down garbage from woke pentagon flag officers.
The woke liberal left has infiltrated those ranks.
The real warfighters don't play this shit.
If the military can survive the draft, it'll survive this.
The voluntary woke crowd?
Not if their recruitment numbers are down. Just liek the NYPD dumbed down it's hiring qualifications. That allowed people with a record and could not pass a drug test. Entrance to the academy.
Society is more interested in "the numbers" than producing productive employees, .mil, le etc.
Merely surviving isn't the goal. Being able to immediately and effectively respond to conflict and to win that conflict decisively should be the goal. I don't care how you try to spin this...it's not good for military or the country. There are other ways of letting people who lead "alternative lifestyles" know they're welcome besides putting out recruitment videos that pander to the woke crowd. My guess is there's very little positive feedback from the general population towards these videos.
It's certainly not popular on YouTube. 132,000+ negative, 5,400 positive reactions. 1 in 24 people view it in a positive light. Certainly not scientific...but that can't be good news to those that made the video.
