We're up to 5.6" now. I think Denver averages 15" total precipitation a year. We got a 1/3rd of that in less than 48 hours.

4 5/8" at 10:00 am yesterday. 3 1/4" as of 6:00 am this morning. Just under 8" for the two days. I am in NW Colo Springs. Drainage is very good here, don't have to look for a boat.
I dumped 4.3" yesterday when I got home from work and just dumped the rain gauge again with another 4.5" putting this storm total at 11.4" here at the house. Just crazy.
I work at the Pinery Water treatment Plant and from all the inflow primarily from manhole lids, we set new records of water treated. Was a real test of the capacity ability of the plant. Glad i wasn't the one on call last night.
Here's a crazy visual. It rained at my house at a rate of 5.34" per hour last night, for almost 20 mins. I was asleep, but that's dumping. Not sure I've ever seen rain like that. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e26175387d.jpg
I went to Lowe's and bought some lumber. I am building an ark.
How big is a cubit?
Someone snuck in and installed a water feature in my spare room.
It could be worse. I just have a roof leak. Several of the garden level condos are flooded.

We are up to 5.6 inches this morning, looks like it could rain off and on all weekend. At least the sun seems to be trying to make an appearance now.
