Same here. And being skinny does not make it any easier. I can sit for hours at a time without even the slightest flinch. But that area had me trying squirm, and trying SO hard to keep from it.

skinny or fat it does not make a difference. The pain if any is based on how close to nerve endings the design is. the same design could be placed on your arm and foot. seeing how there are more nerve endings in you feet than bicep you notice it more. the fingers hurt, toes not to bad. most of mine i just snoozed or told jokes. you guys need to cowgirl up and deal with it. Slam a coke or pepsi down while getting inked and you will sleep walk through it.
The toughest, biggest, guys hit the dirt like my ex on roofies:0
Jim, was kidding when he asked if it hurt. he is covered in ink. and he is a tattoo artist.
HBAR,thanks but you know I'm retired.
Yeah usually I just chew gum and watch a movie or something, chat with my tattoo artist, but when he's tattooing, he doesn't usually talk a whole lot. I'll try the Coke thing, I'm not a huge fan of Pepsi. If my small claims court thing turns out well next week, I might have a few extra bucks to afford a session :)
I always like to ask people if tattoos hurt, but my cover is blown once I take my coat or long sleeved shirt off.

Yeah, especially to jock-type guys with a barbed wire arm band that doesn't even go all the way around their arm. (I have a half-back piece which will wrap around my ribcage, shoulder done too, inside right bicep, and right thigh.) It's a start. I just need the funds and time to continue filling up my right side.
I have a fun one. Planning more, just need some cash.
