Transfer mistake is usually made by the sender, not by the bank. You enter your wire transfer info wrong, it will take 2-3 days to track down. Once I gave away the wrong wiring instruction w/ my older account number to a property buyer. That was not fun, but completely my mistake.

Personal responsibility goes long way. You are just hating anything to do with bank, despite the fact that 99 out of 100 people out there will probably notify the bank right away if something like this would have happened to him/her.

Damn!

He quite clearly had BDS. Bank Derangement Syndrome. Anything a bank does is evil, anything an individual does is ok. It is clear even in the way he types his responses.

I wasnt aware late 30s was Geritol age, the reason you were referred to as son was due to your childish replies and obvious lack of understanding of the point I was making, its obviously beyond your comprehension level. And sounds as if you need to learn what applying the same standards for everyone means. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander so to speak. Quit acting as if the kid held up the bank, or mugged someone. If you read a whole post before responding you may notice I said the guy deserves punishment, but a fellony and lengthy jail time? no. The bank bears a large amount of responsibility here if it was their mistake. Granted most folks would have informed the bank, and should. Do I despise the banking industry and what they have done to this nation? absolutely, if you had the sense god gave a dog you might be angry with them as well. I will await your next simplistic attack.

Rocky Mountain Law Enforcement Federal Credit Union. And I was wrong... The 10% is for something else that they sent me in the mail.. Long term investment thing.. The APY on my checking account is 3%. I average $0.50 a month in dividends from my checking account and I hardly keep anything in there...

I've been looking at stocks that pay monthly dividends all morning too...

I found one... It pays a 19% Monthly Dividend per share... $7.00 a share... Pays $0.1109 per share per month...

It's been right around $7-$11 a share for the last 3 years.

A $10,000 investment will pay you $1,900 a year and it should hover around that price for another 2-3 years... Maybe even go up if the economy turns.

You're basically looking at a 20% interest savings account with the chance to grow.

From 04-07 it was above $30. The Economy killed it in 09 and it tanked to where it is now... Little bumps here and there... But if the economy gets better it could go up!

That last post of mine was too much, I have nothing against tmleadr03 personally, I normally don't get sucked into these keyboard commando type back and forths and shall refrain from further comment. We disagree on this one, it happens, we shouldnt personally attack eachother, I apologize for my part.

Once again you are having trouble applying the same standards. Not only to the bank, but to yourself. You came into this thread saying "screw wells fargo". The money was a typo. And the guy stole it when he spent it. Stealing is a crime, perhaps you are not aware of something called the rule of law?
