I have to agree with jim on this one. While I agree what they have to say is abhorrent, I submit that denying their right to say it is equally so. You can't only believe in Freedom of Speech for those with whom you agree.

Reported the f***er. And the three that liked the page.
Hate speech/group or not, it's out right wrong to make fun of disabled personals, especially the ones that gave up their health to serve their country.
I clicked on the link I received in the email from "Viki" regarding the Facebook Community Standards. It gave me a survey of whether I was "satisifed" with the outcome or not. I put very dissatisfied and this is what I put in the "Tell us about the situation" box.
Yes, I agree that free speech goes both ways. For those who have valid points and for those that have invalid points. However, this page is a group of Facebook's Community Standards and needs to be taken down.Quote:
According to the Facebook Community Standards, Hate Speech is defined as: "Facebook does not permit hate speech. While we encourage you to challenge ideas, institutions, events, and practices, it is a serious violation to attack a person based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition." On the "Dead and Disabled Troops are Comedy" page, there is a post on August 6th with a picture of a soldier who lost his arms in combat. The words "Lol, look at him he thinks he is a sailor. But sailors have arms" are overlaid on the picture. That soldier is being targeted by someone, specifically this group in question, BECAUSE of his disability. Which in other words is an attack on this soldier due to a disability, which is a "serious violation" of the Facebook Community Standards. However, according to the email I received in response to my flagging this group, the group does not violate the Facebook Community Standards.
I am not a soldier, but my between my father and two grandfathers my family has over 85yrs of service to the Air Force. This is unacceptable behavior, and Facebook claims to not tolerate this.

Anyone care to guess the number of f@$ks I give for the rantings and posts of an idiot? Hint: the answer is less than one.
Let the asshat show the world just how terrible of a person they are. People will eventually get what's coming to em.
That said, I would like to once again thank all of our vets an active service men and women for all they have done or do. True Heroes.
