Global warming is over! Time to celebrate!

It is pointless.

One side believes in very disputable facts that support a predetermined conclusion. The media supports this theory thus the American public has been dosed with lies and misrepresentations of true facts. If these people who support this theory carried the courage of their convictions they would not be using fossil fuels in any form nor would they participate in any activity that used or encouraged the use of fossil fuels. As you can plainly see here and on the national scale they are cowardly in their convictions and they respond with more lies, pejoratives, and baseless attacks on the opposition.

The other side believes that the true facts will lead us to a scientific conclusion which hasn't yet been determined. History shows repeated events of natural warming and cooling periods and these all occurred without mankind's industry. These people, represented by many of us on this board including me, are waiting patiently for the scientific conclusion which we may not see in our lifetime.

I will not deny that mankind has had a huge negative impact on very small segments of the earth, as measured in proportion to the total size of the earth. Our own Rocky Flats Arsenal is a testament to that, but look at its progress, a wildlife refuge now. We can overcome our mistakes from the past, it just takes time and willingness to do it.

I read somewhere that cow flatulence when they're all gathered together produce more CO2 than 10 cars on a freeway for 8 hours constantly running at 2500 RPM. MTFBWY.

Never mind, I was thinking of a different comment.

If the world is actually warming, why would anyone have to change the facts to make it look so?

I say inconclusive... We only have data going back so far (and it's not very far at all)... Some say this is an abnormal warming trend, but others say this is just part of the cycle that happens every few hundred years. Either way, I take all that global warming talk with a grain of salt.

Walking into a greenhouse by no means disproves higher temps causing higher CO2 outputs. In any case, those who said the interactions in the earth are much more complex than we can reasonably predict/model get my vote.

What is indisputable is that the global warming movement is 100% political, and backed by junk science. The garbage uncovered at East Anglia university a few years ago makes it clear that the propaganda and publishing efforts are fraudulent, and discredited.
