Hey R-tards... there already IS an MSR. Remington makes it, stands for "Modular Sniper Rifle" (yeah, real lib-friendly name there).
We use something similar to em at work, the XM2010. As far as I understand, it's the same chassis, with the only difference being that the 2010 uses a standard 700 action and the MSR is a new action design. They shoot great.
We can rename it the Stoner-Boner [Coffee]
Ummmm i own an AR. The only thing i can know that had a name changed, was my wife's last one to mine. Anything else REMAINS AS IS, That is all.
It doesn't matter what we call our guns, just like antis twisted the term "well regulated" they will twist whatever name we use into something evil because that's what liberals and progressives do ... they tweak the language until it suits their agenda.
We could call them "Fuzzy McBunny Slippers" and within a decade all three of those words would be redefined to mean "Killer Death Machines".
I call mine what it is. A military pattern semi automatic rifle and remind users of the term assault rifle that they(assault rifles) are so heavily regulated as to be effectively outlawed for civilian ownership.
While perusing the Smith and Wesson website, I noticed that they call their ARs "Modern Sporting Rifles". So, OP, did you steal their idea or did they steal yours?
Yeah...that whole appeasement approach has worked so well in the past. I can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading on this forum in the last 20 hours.
