thanks. I'll change it before the match. VTAC is all port shots this time, no steps.

Do the extra holes in the VTAC wall from all the Diamond Dogs count as ports too?
;-)
NOVEMBER MATCH CANCELLED.
Too much snow on the range, between snow drifts and the muddy mess the roads will be, there's no way the match can happen.
Next match will be March 2020, weather permitting.
Dang
Sean, thank you for a great season of super fun matches!!!
Crap.
It would have been a mudfest.
Sadness..........[Plow]
IMPROMPTU FEBRUARY MATCH!!!!!!!
The weather looks badass and people want to shoot, so lets shoot. Find your gear and your completely neglected and sad modern-day sporting rifle and come out to make pew-pew.

About time! See you there.

completely neglected and sad
Its going to be a Pew Pew fun time for everyone!!!
Woot!
One day left to register bump
Snow didn't hit the range. Only a light dusting. We are still GTG for tomorrow.
Two paper target stages heavy on targets. If you can help with set up, we appreciate it.
Mandatory reload on a rifle El Prez. Distance to targets has still to be determined.
Round count is 116. Bring 200 [shit-happens]
I am bringing 500 rounds because I like to miss really fast...... [facepalm]
You can’t help but to aim for the middle, we know you.
Mandatory reloads?
Who requires that garbage? Oh wait. Nevermind.
Awesome match, great weather, fun stages. Thanks Sean for a great day!
Results are posted. 43 shooter for an impromptu match. Pretty good. Big Panda destroyed us all.
Eric gave away Shooters World powder. [Beer]
Good Times!!!
Thanks Sean & everyone who contributed to making this happen.
Perfect day. I had a lovely time.
OK, here's the March sign up for the match. We will see what the weather brings...

Nice. Almost full.
We are at 65 shooters. All further sign ups will be on the waiting list. I usually have a few drop off at the end. Don't let it stop you if you haven't signed up already.
A few have signed up and haven't squadded. If you haven't squadded by the time I pull the match into my master score pad on Friday, I will squad you in what slots are left over.
I posted the stages on practiscore for the match.
Weather still looks amazing. Pray Freyr keeps it so.
If you are attending this match, don't forget to come out early and help with setting up the stages. Matches can't happen effectively without dedicated volunteers pitching in to help make it happen.

If you didn't show, your loss. It was incredible weather and great stages.
I hated to miss it, but Uncle Sam wanted me out of town.
I noticed a bunch of no-shows. Signing up and then not showing up is a huge dick move. Not cool.
Great match as usual, Sean. Thanks a lot!
Say, who's idea was it to name stages after mushrooms?
Big thanks to Sean for pulling together a fun, fair and safe match. This was a challenging match with lessons learned by many in attendance!!! Pew Pew Lessons for the win [Beer]
Great match. Thanks Sean!
It was me. I took a class last year. It's pretty amazing to walk around in the woods, find, identify, and collect an edible mushroom and then cook and eat them right there over a camp fire. I took an edible plant class too. I'm not the greatest at ID of wild edibles, but I ain't skinny...
Ya. I had 82 sign up, 10 withdraw, and 10 no-show. I suspect a few pussed out after I sent an email saying we were deep in squads. We were out by 3pm as usual. If everyone would have showed, I estimate 330 at the latest. Oh well. It was a crazy good match with more steel at the 200 yd to make it move more efficient and another new rendition of the VTAC barricade.
Depending out how it goes, Matt Hess may be MDing the April match. I may be physically not able. We will see. Regardless, the match won't be cancelled unless I don't have an MD or the weather is garbage. I will be spending my time high as I can get on opiates designing stages.
I hunt Boletes every year, starting in mid summer and Morels every spring, so if you ever feel like going up, let me know and I'll be glad to take you along. This past summer was a record-setting Bolete season. I must have picked well over 100 pounds and my friends, 100 more.
