My wife in Adams
Submitted 01/07/2016
Received in the mail 02/21/2016
I submitted 27DEC15, issued 28FEB16, received in the mail 03MAR16, El Paso County.
My wait started today at 2:30 in Douglas County.
Adams County: scheduled my appointment in late February, submitted my application on 4-14, got it in the mail on 5-31. I thought McIntosh was going to fix that appointment cluster that Darr screwed up.
Adams County, scheduled my appointment through the computer system. This is my second renewal, handed my paper work to an officer and he gave me a number to be called back. He stated that I would get my new permit today. Walked into the back and had a new picture taken, signed my paper work and gave them my check. My new permit was printed out and walked out of the office 10 minutes later. The Officer said they have changed their procedure and that when you sing up on the computer system they do a back ground check before you even arrive at the office.
This is for a renewal only. First time application will take longer.
Sorry, I did not see this earlier. I asked about that and she claims that they will not issue if they haven't run all of the checks.

Just over a month....not too bad.
Impressive*. Walked into the El Paso County Sheriff's office with my filled-out change of address form and walked out 10 minutes later with a shiny new card.
O2
* Impressive, aside from the fact that the requirement is unconstitutional...

In Jeffco: Submitted the application to renew my permit from El Paso County on 2/6/17, was called on 2/27/17 and told I was good to go, and to come back in for my photo and permit.
Hoping this is still the case. My renewal went past the expiration (D'oh!) but it's okay because I love my county so much I was just looking for a reason to give them another $15 anyway. They said 4-5 weeks but if it's closer to that 5 day mark I'd be much happier.
Jeffco Renewal of my permit from Boulder County.
Submitted paperwork 3/20/17. Received the call it was ready on 4/5/17.
Weld CTY renewal for the spouse and myself. 11:15 handed renewal paperwork and old permits in. $76 and 20 minutes later walked out, good for another 5 years.
I'm tempted to say that "This is the way it should be." The problem for me is that I just can't agree to the notion that anyone should pay the government to exercise their God given right to protect themselves and wear a jacket over a legally carried firearm. But I'm sort of weird that way. [shithitsfan];
PS Oh yeah, I'm still waiting for my Sheriff to say YES to my Mother May I request. I just appreciate the instructor who provided my training.
Arapahoe Renewal took all of 20m today. New card.. got the letter of 'we didn't do a BGC yet but we will, and we'll let you know if you have to give it back'
The lady did tell me they're back up to 90 days for new permits..

This thread makes me miss Spleify.
Running a body shop last I heard. We could start a Where Are They Now thread.
It will be very popular thread.
I believe there are some members who still wonder where mb888 is.
