Arrest DOES NOT equal conviction ... or even a plea.

I was once arrested for felon in possession of a firearm ....

Problem is I'm not a felon . was dropped the next day by the DA. But it does still show up on my FBI report.

now for the curious.... I was on probation for having a lead foot ( too many speeding tickets in too short a time .... I was 18 ) got pulled over again .. had a couple of firearms in the car ( all legal ) officer got charge happy and hit me with the felon in possession ... charges were dropped guns returned to me .

The link posted (by Byte?) was from 2010 and shows that the majority of politicians in the races were in trouble with the law at some point. No shock there. That's all ammo to be used at election time, and that should have been better capitalized on already.

I don't see this hurting our cause. Sure its better at election time, but she was not in my district, now her anti 2 amendment ideas are being forced upon me. Were freaking talking about the 2 amendment here folks and it is upmost that we go for every opening we can get. Ms.Fields and her brethren to not care about being nice or feelings. If you look into her past- she would not be there except for a couple of events. Her son was killed, big media event, she testified a number of times on the hill. Then a stand-alone candidate (Middleton) dropped out of a race after winning the primary and this POS was thrown into the slot.

No it doesn't, but two incidents widely spaced means alot more than one isolated contact.

yep, the gloves are off at this point. Still civil, no threats, but this is far too good an opportunity to just let go.

When I spoke to them at the Capitol on Monday they were not giving up yet. Unless something has changed, this might not be quite accurate reporting.

Marshall Fields, she must have profited immensely for her to name her son the same. !5 years of criminal activity 1976 to 1991? Thats as I said earlier, when she was caught, how much did she steal in that 15 years? They only quit when they get caught. Remember that! Yep. Just because she got caught twice doesn't mean she only did it twice. She may have gotten away with hundreds of other times, most do.

Lets see her resume for this position she holds, did she lie about her arrest record? What is her job history for the years 1976-1991, was she on the "dole"?? Gubment cheese lines? All of those types laugh about how they are getting everything for free. That's their lifestyle. I'm from Detroit and saw how they all laugh about being paid for nothing. The more kids they have the more they get. Lets see where this goes. If she did it for her kids, you know she was on welfare. 25 years in the auto industry and I never collected from the gubment. I always had a job! Harsh? You betcha! Turn about is fair play!

I firmly believe that someone who has made mistakes in their past can still do good in the world. I also believe that someone who has done wrong can still represent others if they have gone through the course of change to better themselves. But in this case -

This woman was arrested for taking things from others in order to satisfy her own wants and needs.

Now she is taking away well established RIGHTS to once again satisfy her own wants and needs.

Serving one's own wants and needs over well founded and EXISTING rights of others shows an undeniable pattern.

Her job is to represent those that elected her. NOT to do whatever satisfies her current desire.

A pattern of behavior has been established. She needs to excuse herself from Colorado's government.

This is my biggest issue with her. Regardless of whether you are pro gun or not she should be representing "We The People" Everything I see and hear about her tells me she is on a self centered personal vendetta. She is not thinking of "the People" but only of herself.
