Very cool!
We did Guanella Pass, with a quick run up Geneva Creek towards the end. Didn't get nearly as many fall pics as I normally do.

Nice pics dudes. Hurley you missed out on Chinaman. Definitely was harder than I thought. Trail damage has it at a 7 but I've seen other sites that have it as an 8. I took some trail damage getting through it. The aspens weren't changing enough either. Looks like my wife and I are going out either this weekend or next. We will be in the Silverthorne area.
Probably glad I didn't come along lol. Traildamage has some flawed ratings as far as I'm concerned. I've done some 8 rated trails in a Cherokee with only rear locker and 31's, granted I'm a decent driver, but to say I've done trails that were only one or two ratings away from extreme, seems odd to me.
Thanks for the compliments guys, I see a lot of great pics on here as well. Keep in mind my wife and I took about 1500 pics over the weekend, lol. The top one is Maroon Bells, near Aspen. The middle one is the Crystal Mill, on the Devil's Punchbowl trail. Its right before the trail gets really hard. The last one is Lost Lake, a little sleepy lake of Kebler Pass that you only see fly fishermen and a few people taking pictures it seems.
Well, the pictures I posted above were all taken with a Nikon D600, and a Nikon 16-35mm lens. I actually rented the setup for the weekend, and it did pretty good actually. My normal camera that my wife was toting is a Nikon D3100 with the 18-55mm lens. Its considered an entry level camera, but can still take great pics as well. She got some almost as good as what this thing did. Learning the settings, and developing skill, and then good glass is what makes the biggest difference on how good a pic comes out, a lot like learning to shoot a rifle good. I'm still a green horn by a long ways but I'm learning. Its actually kind of fun once you have your head in it. No reloading of ammo, or magazine restrictions, lol. Mega-pixels aren't everything, though they help to some degree. The D600 is a 24megapixel and the D3100 is a 14megapixel. The size of the image sensor, that the pixels are on plays a huge part in it. That's why a cameraphone with what is touted as a high megapixel camera can not compete with a real camera with a much bigger sensor. You can get into the action for under $600, or if you want to blow a ton of cash, $3000 or more can easily happen.
