Shooting your very first reloads is very rewarding when they fly down range. It's a cool moment to know you loaded it yourself.

Rolled up around 650 rounds of .45 ball last night. Since I started casting, they've been just taking up space on the shelf.
Mayhap I'll run them through my Glock. There. I said it. I own a Glock. [hammer]
I built a couple of cheap target stands out of 2x4x96's and 1x2x96's. Yay!
Looked for a few boxes for finished rounds. Never located, i did find a complete lower, had no clue was out there. Wonder if i need to do a 4473 before i bring it in the house.
Cried that I don't have a 1050.. So many buckets of brass - and just one little 600 to swage it all.
Started reloading 9mm 147's to replace those that I shot at the Colorado Freedom Shoot over the weekend. "Started" being the operative word.

Loaded up 1k .40 S&W with 5.6gr HP-38, 155gr FP, CCI primers.
Loaded up 250 rounds of 300 Win Mag with Berger 300gn Hybrids and H-1000.
Gonna burn up a bunch of them tomorrow.
pulled some misc calibers i loaded sometime ago. Unknown / unmarked specs. easier to reuse components than risk an accident.
Test load of 220 gr 300 BLK with h110, few thousand .223 and prepped 300 BLK case mouths.
200 more 9mm loaded with 4.2 gr titegroup and xtreme 115gr bullets. And 500 more cases thru the tumbler.
If you're still looking, those big white boxes that Xtreme Bullets come in are perfect for storage of reloads. The big box will hold 400x 9mm, or 250x .40S&W. Print out a little tag indicating the load data, quantity and whatnot, then tape it shut and stack em wherever. I'm getting rid of my 50rd factory ammo boxes in favor of this since I can store more bullets in less space since they aren't stacked neatly. And lets be honest here, reloading the mags from a pile of rounds or from a neatly organized tray isn't faster one way or another.
Decided to break out my reloading stuff yesterday, spent all morning tumbling, decapping, cleaning, sizing about 1000x 223 (trimming/deburring these), 750x 9mm, 500x .40S&W. Then finished with priming that 223 only since I'm apparently out of small pistol primers. My wife gave me crap for not packing, until I showed her that I was really consolidating containers and was able to trash about 5-10 smaller containers that were holding brass in various processing stages. I sure showed her! [LOL]
Outstanding tip, not sure why I didn't think of using those. My first order from xtreme came in the large 1000 count box. My second order came in two smaller 500 count boxes. The smaller boxes work great for me for loaded ammo. It just barely holds 250 rounds of 9mm.

Big day,
4k .223 69gr smk with H335
500 300 BLK 125gr balistic tip with H110
finshed case mouth prep of about 2k BLK brass.
case necked turned a couple hundred .308
then I cleaned the shop a little. I'm going to switch tool heads to 9mm and then going to have a big spring cleaning. The shop is getting pretty messy.
Sort brass
Clean and trim 30-06 brass for the Garand
Sorted some hand gun brass. Need to load test some .38spl 125 MG JHP's and 200gr xtreme plated 45 acp.
Installed my replacement primer feeder. I was having a issue where primers were occasionally getting stuck in the tube coming from the primer tray on my Lee Safety Prime. Emailed them, and they shipped out a replacement part free of charge, no questions asked. Now feeding perfectly.
Little Stevie don't shoot he-man calibers.
ya!
3 words: seventy-five mike mike.
yep...
Well I tried to load up .45 but I quit. Changed the 550 from .40 to .45, loaded some primers, set the powder measure to run a few test cases. Had a problem with primers not feeding, turns out I put the small primer bar back in so I got that fixed. Dumped bullets into the tray a spilled a few dozen on the floor and as I was getting up my arm hit the casing bin a dumped all 200 on the floor. After cleaning that up I am taking a break so I can get my focus back. Some times you need to take a break.
I here ya. That is what I'm doing right now. I can't tell you how many times I have forgot to switch the primer bar. Because of that reason I'm looking for another 550.
Finished loading my 147gr plated. I actually ran out of bullets and WSF at the same time! That almost never happens.
Cleaned... Organized..... Not much fun.
