Frontier Airlines used to operate a charter plane for a company called Blue Moon. A little over 10 years ago, I was co-pilot on a flight where we carried the White House press corps from Andrews Air Force base to Fort Smith, Arkansas to cover a speech the President was giving.
This photo is re-touched to remove the flight attendants who were standing on top of the air stairs and someone who walked into the left side of the frame just as I took the picture. Otherwise, everything else is 'as it happened.'
[EDIT: I just found the original, un-retouched photo. I guess there were also a couple of people standing in line with Air Force One's main landing gear--I removed them, too.]

Since I'm on a roll…
I also took this picture about 10 years ago. I had just finished signing off an 80+ year old man for his 2-year flight review using a friend's Cub at his farm east of Windsor. This is the "student" (the 80+ year old man) after having returned from his first solo flight in many years. He did well. This is an ~1100 foot grass strip that dead-ends at the top of the hill at the irrigation ditch/canal. Land uphill, takeoff downhill.

Spotted two of these stopping by Buckley a couple of years ago while out on a motorcycle ride:

Yeah, I need to figure out how to edit videos and trim them a little bit.http://<a href="http://i18.photobuck...[/IMG]</a>
Yeah, that one caught me off guard. Unusual plane to see, and one of the larger jets I've seen fly into KAPA.
Took out the new camera today, and caught an F-18 making a hard u-turn over Centennial and spitting out a bunch of smoke while doing so. Unusual enough that a bunch of cars pulled over and people came out from who knows where to see what was going on...

Click the pic for full size, the F-18 is just visible at the bottom of the frame. I was holding the camera over a chainlink fence to get the shot.
