I'll do you one better; WHY Gamora??

I really liked the movie, I'm even considering seeing it a second time in the theater, I can't remember the last time I saw one more than once in the theater. But I think they dropped the ball on the advertising on this one. They should never had said there is 2 movies in the War, can you imagine the people losing their minds thinking this is how it ended? And they could've done no trailers for this one with new footage. One trailer with Nick Fury speech recited by the characters showing footage from the previous movies and that was it would've been cool. I mean nobody was undecided on seeing this movie before the trailers came out. At least they didn't give away all the good scenes in the trailers like a lot of movies do now.
Why you ask.

Saw this movie this morning. It was surprisingly good.

Remember NO SPOILERS , Please.
The humor in this one played well, the part where one ask.
(loose quote) Is Footloose still the greatest movie ever.
Watched Thor: Raganok some time back. Not sure which direction the movie wanted to go, humor or serious. Which showed too well through out it.
But Cate Blanchett was incredibly hot.
I saw this today and recommend it. For non-actors the story felt real. I'm not sure professional actors could have made this movie better and probably would have made it harder to watch.

We just saw Infinity War yesterday.
Wow.
One of my buddy's saw it this weekend and he was blown away! He's a huge Marvel and DC nerd, also happens to be black, and these were his words "Black Panther couldn't even hold Infinity war's jock strap, and I'll debate that with any person of color". Not trying to stray off topic or anything, but it made me laugh.
I enjoyed Black Panther. Fun movie with great characters, especially his sister Shuri
Last weekend, though, I realized that it's the same plot as the first Thor movie, but from Loki's perspective. Where the brother and rightful heir to the throne was sent away and has to return and fight for the right to rule his people.
Ha. Found it.

Not a movie but close enough. I am at the Arvada Center for the second time with one of my granddaughters for a musical. Today was Seusical the Musical. Last year was A Year with Frog and Toad. My wife and I have season tickets at the DCPA. The performances at the Arvada Center are outstanding and a bargain compared to other theater. If you have children I highly recommend that you take them to a performance at the Arvada Center.
Solo: A Star Wars Story.
It was bad, really bad.
The audience was silent throughout the movie.
I thought it was fantastic. Plenty of laughs, molded nicely to Han's character from IV, V and VI. The director tied things in nicely from the originals and made great seamless connections.
Action was good and constant and I thought the plot and storyline were well thought out.
Much better than that piece of junk that was the Force Awakens. 🤢🤮

Went to Solo on Saturday.
It was quite well done. It wasn't a mind-blower, but it was pretty good!
My wife and I enjoyed Solo, but she's a huge SW nerd/fan (has read all the books, etc) and she pointed out a few plot holes, but for the most part it apparently follows the original books.
Mrs BG and I watched "Game Night" last night. We both enjoyed it (surprisingly to me). It was actually very funny.
We saw Solo today. IMO, it wasn’t as bad as many have made it out to be. It wasn’t something I would go back to see in a theater. The plot really didn’t fill in Han’s character to make him what he seemed to become in the original movies. Just my $.02
Finally got around to watching "Ready Player One".
I Really wish Hollywood would stop shoveling out dystopias worse than the one we already live in.
The movie itself was a solid "meh" which is about the best that can be expected nowadays.
