Nearly every day for the past two weeks I've gone to a high mountain lake to watch for the ice break up and look for river otters that dive for fish and consume them on the ice sheets. Still two or three days from full ice break but on my way back I stop at a place in the forest where I can safely shoot. I've been shooting almost every day, mostly with the .300 Blackout rifle suppressed, the Kimber Micro 9, the old Taurus PT92, and the Glock 27. Tomorrow will take the DDM4V11 suppressed, and maybe a Garand. I always have a Garand. Have to go early before the weekenders show up. Paper and cardboard targets only and always retrieve the brass.
