I agree at face value because Darryl has always been portrayed as a better survivalist/outdoorsman, but don't forget Michonne lived off the land by herself for a very long time in earlier seasons. She's resourceful and observant if nothing else. I was disappointed we didn't see most of the characters in this first episode this season, so we really don't know who all made it through the prison attack at the end of last season.
