I found myself humming this today. I like it - even though it's a bit of an earworm.

Not sure how many here will recognize the source material ... but here is the most interesting cover of Yngwie ever.
(what makes it interesting is that Yngwie was most influenced by 18th/19th century violin virtuoso Niccolo Paganini so this is kinda full circle)

Badazz, her event schedule shows her playing The Mishawaka in May.
The Mishawaka is on the way to Mrs bo's favorite fishing hole and she has always comments as we pass by about never having been there.

Yup. Did they ever have many other great songs? I remember I only ever had like 3 Finch songs on my play lists.
I'm becoming a Sturgill Simpson fan.....

I had to watch that Netflix thing like three times before I could make it all the way through. I like the songs on their own though. Really like Mercury is in Retrograde.
Have you heard these?

As a rule of thumb, I don't like happy country music, or very *bluegrassy stuff, but Sturgil is so damn talented that I can't help but like his stuff.
*For some reason, I like just straight bluegrass, especially instrumental.
Sturgill Simpson's cover of 'In Bloom' is what got my attention, then started hearing more of his stuff on radio.
Just heard a cut from his new album 'Cutting Grass, Vol. 2', the CD won't release until late March, vinyl is available now.
I couldn't make sense of the anime on Netflix, but would like to see how he came up with the ideas.
ETA: I don't really know the difference between various country music genres, so 'bluegrass' and other nomenclature really doesn't have meaning for me.
As always, willing to learn.
Cutting Grass is bluegrass from what I understand, but not much of that has hit my Pandora.
This is the bluegrass instrumental I was referring to:

Here's Simpson talking about doing Sound and Fury. Interesting story. Basically he was all hopped up on opioids in the hospital recovering from an injury and wrote the album from the hospital. He wanted something like the anime he grew up with and reached out to some people and like all of the animators he loved liked the idea and got together to do it. There is going to be a sequel.

One of the most underrated guitarist. That eddy vedder credited as the father of grunge. I dislike his politics, but the man can rock it out. .
