What did you do at the range lately?

Sorted my data issue. Yay.

Also shot the mover stage yesterday. First target on that stage is a stationary confirmation target (so no one shoots the tracks when they shoot @ the mover). Sent my first round & missed by .1 mil, sorted the wind hold & sent a second, hit it (1pt) & was cleared to engage the mover. Added my corrected wind to my estimated ambush hold, waited for the pig to hit that subtension & sent it. Missed, barely. Adjusted again for flight time & hit it center with the follow-up shot & got 2 first rd hits thereafter for each pass l to r & r to l (5pts for 6 total). 1100ish yds on a pig silhouette.

Idk if that's the proper way to shoot a mover at those distances but I'm glad it worked. My favorite stage of the day.

Normally on Mondays I go out and gather brass. But today, 99* - nah - fugabunchathat.

I have spent the last three range sessions getting comfortable with my new 365X. I have really grown to like this thing a lot. Because grip modules cost next to nothing, I picked up the compact module to mess around with for potential pocket carry. It is weird having my finger off the grip, but I have also adapted to it quicker than I expected, which is a tribute to Sig. I am very pleased with the final 25 rounds of the day.

Just set up a G48 with a Holosun 507K X2, now trying to become as proficient with a red dot as I was with irons. I shot the Colorado POST qual twice today as a basic test and cleaned it both times on an IDPA target with only two hits outside the -0 zone both times. Now I need to move on to some more demanding practice drills. It’s given me a reason to crank out a pile of 9mm on the XL650 for practice.

Played with my Vudoo 360 and an ATS tuner behind my Thunderbeast suppressor. I wanted to see if I could tighten up a random lot of ammo with this (Bartlien 16 twist) barrel.

Moving the tuner a total of about a turn did this. After I got to 2, I stopped.

These are all 5 shot groups off a bipod and Traust rear bag at 50 yards.

Got my 7 year old daughter working with the Mantis laser trainer today. Shooting an AR pistol w/brace. (Which is still too big for her.)

Using the Mantis Blackbeard trigger reset system, here's her splits. This was her 1st run. Pretty freaking proud of that. 1st shot 0.75s. Girl ain't messin'.
