That is a fine looking machine. Beautiful. I'd like to own one!
Going to run errands shortly. Trying to decide if I want to just jump in the truck or maybe hop on the supermoto.
If there isn't a more perfect day for a bike! Why even the question?
Yep. Thought about for about one minute and then jumped on the bike and headed out. Took it a few blocks to want to stay idling. Been quite a few years since I?ve had anything without fuel injection. I forgot that carbureted bikes need to warm up a little. Especially since it?s been parked since probably last October.
It must be springtime because I seem to have motorcycle fever.
I wanted to try a big bike because it’s been 5 years or so since I sold my K1100LT. So about a month ago, I bought this one:

And I *really* like how a big, heavy bike rides, but I wanted more bells and whistles so I bought this one:

Short story is that I now have an extra big motorcycle. If anybody wants a really sharp 1997 Valkyrie with 18,000 miles, it’s listed in the Fort Collins Craigslist ads for $4500.
How does that Valkyrie fit a tall guy? I’ve always been intrigued by them but figured I’d look like Herman Munster on one. I still do on my Road King, but hopefully soon to fix with a suspended solo seat, lower floorboards and removal of suspension-lowering kit.
I’m only about 5’10” and I feel like the Valkyrie fits me perfectly. I could see where a tall guy might look a little goofy on it as it definitely has a low seat height. I don’t know where Edgewater is, but if you’re anywhere near the northern Colorado area, you’re welcome to come sit on the Valkyrie.
