Just watched John Wick 2. Was surprised how cheesey it was. Is John Wick 3 any better?
JW3: everyone dies, 3 gun silliness abound, killer dogs, wierd plot to stage the next films and to do background info. Would watch again.
Works for me. Still liked it, just surprised.
I think they get sillier as the series progresses, yes. Still fun & would watch again.
The first will always be my favorite, though.
Went to see "Yesterday". Fun, light movie.
Is that the one where everyone forgets about the Beatles?
I just saw they are coming out with a sequel to Top Gun. I imagine it won?t be near as good as the original but I?d rather see a sequel to a classic than a remake of it.

A few months ago some guys were telling me about how they thought that Fourth Kind was the most scary movie they've ever seen. I watched it last night and it was pretty much a pile of garbage.
Don't spend any money to watch that movie.
Looks like some good flight scenes. To me, those were the best parts of Top Gun.
Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise. Don't think Kelly McGillis signed up.
The trailer has the admiral commenting that Maverick should be a 2-star Admiral by now, and he is just a Captain.
Uh, to be still flying, and be a Captain in the Navy, that is pretty darn good in my mind.
I'd sign up to watch it.
They're going to have to do a lot of CGI cleanup on poor Val, he looks like death, and unlike himself, after the throat cancer ordeal.
Unfortunately, there's no amount of CGI that can make 62 year old Kelly McGilliss look good. She has not aged well. According to her, she's fine with all that and her current sans Hollywood life.

Finally watched Avengers: End Game.
I've been pretty much over the whole super hero thing for like three years now, but it was a pretty fun movie and they did a good job of juggling a story with so many characters.
Only part that sucked was when the Deus Ex Machina lady showed up at the end of the movie and saved the day without breaking a sweat because she's just totally awesome or something.
Spoiler alert!
I watched the Avengers movie last night and it just didn?t impress me much.
Watching it from the comfort of my own home so I definitely didn't get any extra special butter of any kind.
IT 2.
Pass on it. The first was much better and this one was a mess.
Pointless scenes, corny dialogue, predictable jump scares.
I actually fell asleep at times during the movie.
Save it for Redbox and spend a dollar and some change.
Prediction:
Now that Stan Lee is dead, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is in for the same fate that befell post-Lucas Star Wars.
Booksmart is a pretty fun "teen" (porkies, etc.) movie I have seen recently and can recommend.

Watched Bone Tomahawk the other night.
It's a western with Kurt Russell and a pretty solid supporting cast.
What should be a B-grade western manages to be better than it has any right to be due to some very solid dialogue and characterization.
If you haven't seen it, I'd suggest going in blind without learning anything more about it.
Hehehe.
That had to smart just a little.
Thanks for the recommendation. I enjoyed it.
Bone Tomahawk is awesome. Ive seen it a few times.
Justin ... did you ever get around to watching In Bruges?
I think I did as well. I very much looked Layer Cake.
As well as Revolver and Real Rock N' Rolla.
No, is it a Guy Ritchie movie? I really like his stuff.
