Me too! I've had a hard time finding them, even out at pawnee.
I found three last year.
we found more since last I posted. over the weekend we were rolling out straw blankets to cover the fresh tilled soil and grass seeds we put down (in the front yard). we got to the end of one roll and laid the next roll down. as we went to unroll it there was already a rattlesnake on the piece we just rolled out. bending over to roll the blanket out, our faces were only about 2 feet away. we have seen way too many already this year.
How big are the ones you're seeing? Before I saw Colorado rattlers I assumed they would be larger but the ones I saw were 3' max.
we probably mostly see ones that are 36" ish long. I dont measure them. Most of the ones we see arent really large but they generally have had around 8 rattles. I have seen some large ones. Last year the one I made this thread about was huge. I didnt measure him but he was as big as a big bullsnake.
Taking my hunting dog out to Valhalla in two weeks for their snake avoidance class. My older has been through it twice. I don't think my younger pup will need more than once he is pretty timid. Hate to see my pups get lit up by the shock collar but it is better than the alternative. I see hunting and farm dogs there every year.
1. I should definitely do that with my dog because she is a hunting dog and 2. HBAR let's get some people together and wrangle a few snakes!

There is still room if anyone still needs.
Irving if you need someone to take snakes off your hands let me know, i want to eat one at least once!
