I'll figure... NO ONE F'N CARES ABOUT THE NEW MAG LAW INCLUDING LAW ENFORCEMENT THAT FREQUENTS THAT STORE.

Just to make sure I was making an accurate statement I decided to stop in there tonight on my way home tonight, 11-4-2013, and sure enough, they have plenty of Tapco 30rd 5.56/223 mags with a separate purchase for the spring. They also had a dozen or so 30rd Pmags with separate springs for them. Sorry I didnt take notice of the price. I did notice that their 5.56 ammo was roughly .50 per rd regardless of bulk package with an ammo can thrown in. So yea, they are pricey but have good supply.
That law is stupid.
A friend of mine ordered a new XD several months ago, it finally came in about two months ago, shop sold it to him with the >15 rounds mags.
Attachment 36029My Springfield XD Tactical .45 only came with 13 rd mags...Im jealous
The law is stupid ... and it won't likely last long.
But that said I will not state a position here on this forum on whether or not I will obey these stupid new laws because this is an open forum and there are antis here and I don't want to give ammo to the enemy nor open the management of this site to any trouble.
But I will make the observation that there's a lot of people ignoring the law (including law enforcement) ... for now.
Exactly.
I've taken a bunch of crap from people who claim that I'm some sort of sellout for telling people not to violate the law.
As if I give a crap about this law, or as if I'm somehow in league "with da man".
If you want to violate the law by buying banned magazines, and you make a rational, informed decision, that's not going to upset me. But if you think because some gun shop does some stupid clown thing, that that means that the law is somehow been erased, you are wrong.
Because a shop selling >15 round magazines will get away with it until some TV news crew does an "expose" on it. Then - when they turn over their list of customers who bought magazines from them in a plea deal - things will be different.
So I'm telling my friends to stay away from shops run by clowns.
