A&E suspends Phil Robertson over his personal beliefs about homosexuals.

I was never a fan of the show. IMO, its just another pointless reality show that I don't have time for. But now I'll be rooting for them, screw A&E. I already knew what they were about so his comments don't surprise me at all.

Um, the guy has been a re-born christian (yes, lower case) for years. No one at the network questioned his stance on homers?

I don't give two shiats about being a homer but still like Phil. This sounds like a marketing ploy to the 'nth degree.

The whole DD show is useless contrived drama.

I believe it is a calculated move by A&E. Not that they need to boost ratings, but more is always better in their eyes.

This is one of the reasons we cancled TV service 4 years ago.

Jeeezus... It's not a reality show.... I just started watching it this season and it is just a silly fun comedy show that has to do with duck calls and from what I see, some values. These guys are making a fortune having fun.. I can envy that, so yes I am a fan....

^^ This. I bet they think that Phil will apologize for his remarks, however Phil already makes it evident that he doesn't care that much about the show anyways. Also, he didn't just call out gays, he called out all kinds of sexual practices that the Bible mentions to abstain from, he doesn't go the typical anti-gay route that many people go on, he mentions all kinds of Bible-mentioned immorality. He was referring to things that Phil is already famous for saying: that this world is a messed up place that needs Jesus.

Last time I checked we were still entitled to our opinions.
I didn't see that liberal idiot Piers Morgan get suspended for his anti-gun comments.

This will really backfire on A&E - I hope!
